Overview – “My kingdom for a horse!” This is a play by Shakespeare. Written about a great villain King Richard III who was deformed from birth he conspired to be King by killing and deception. By the end of the story, he was a wretched man who with just the mention of his name brought fear. His monologue in the first act is famous for its brashness and cunning.
Theme – cunning and devious man conspires to take the crown.
Biggest takeaway – There is some historical thought of Richards cunning and ruthlessness was due to his deformed body from birth.
Overall Satisfaction – 8/10 Great Play, Great read, Great character
